Onion Pie

Onion Pie

1 stick butter
4 medium-sized Vidalia onions, thinly sliced
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
¼ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
1 pie shell — unbaked Grated Parmesan cheese to taste

Sauté onions in butter. Set aside.

Combine eggs and sour cream. Add onion mixture. Add salt and pepper and pour into pie shell. Sprinkle cheese on top.

Bake for 20 minutes at 450 degrees, then for 20 minutes at 325 degrees.

By my calculations – Per serving – Calories: 487, Total Fat: 36.1g, Sat. Fat: 18.2g, Carbs: 29.8g, Fiber: 2.8g, Protein: 10.2g
