Italian Sausage Rigatoni

This recipe was on a Johnsonville Sausage  ad in Southern Living magazine. It makes for an easy weeknight meal.









Italian Sausage Rigatoni

1 package Italian Mild Sausage Links, grilled and sliced coin sized
1 package rigatoni pasta
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large red pepper, chunked and sautéed
1 jar (26 ounce) of your favorite pasta sauce
2 tablespoon parsley, chopped
I added shredded parmesan cheese

Cook sausage according to package directions, keep warm. Cook the rigatoni according to the directions, keep warm. In a large pan, place olive oil and garlic, saute lightly for 30 seconds. Add peppers and cook until crisp-tender. Combine cooked sausage and pasta with the peppers and heat until warm. Top with parsley. Serve.
