Brew tea according to package directions. You will need 8 cups of brewed tea. Sweeten tea with entire recipe of ginger simple syrup. Recipe follows.
Ginger Simple Syrup for Kegan’s Iced Ginger Tea
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup sliced ginger root
Simmer over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Let simmer for about 3 minutes. Strain the infused syrup through a fine-mesh sieve. Eat or discard the sweetened ginger slices (They kinda taste like strong ginger candy).
