I have been making these cookies for about a decade now. A big batch of these yummy things were gobbled up at a work event recently. They are easy and always get compliments. This is one of my most requested recipes.
White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup melted butter (use real butter, please)
2 cups white chocolate morsels
1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla (real vanilla, not vanilla flavoring)
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars, vanilla and beat in eggs. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in white chocolate morsels and macadamia nuts. Chill dough. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
