Blue Cheese Dressing

This recipe is from an old cookbook called Farm House that I found at my mother’s last year. I made this blue cheese dressing to go with some rare steak wraps. It makes about 24 tablespoons.





Blue Cheese Dressing

2 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cloves garlic, minced

Place all ingredients in a food processor. Process in short pulses, until the ingredients are throughly mixed, but small chunks of blue cheese remain. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

By my calculations: Per tablespoon – Calories: 46, Total Fat: 4.3g, Sat. Fat: 1.6g, Carb: 0.8g, Fiber: 0g, Protein: 0.7g
